Bestpets 3rd Annual Scottish Trade Day

A great day was had by all at the Bestpets 3rd Annual Scottish Trade Day of 2017, held at Blair Drummond Safari and Adventure Park on Sunday 17th September.

Over 40 suppliers were in attendance to greet over 300 invited guests comprising of Bestpets customers and their families.

As well as the Trade Day itself, Retailers were free to enjoy the rest of the Safari Park for a fun family day out for all. Not to mention receiving a Bestpets cuddly toy each too!

Exclusive Special Offers were available from all Suppliers on the day for Retailers to take advantage of. Both Suppliers and Retailers also had the opportunity to talk to each other and gain information and insight not usually possible on a day to day basis.

The New Product Showcase area allowed Suppliers to show Retailers the best new lines available to buy and stock.

Peter Brame, category controller for Pet is delighted about the Trade Day "This is our 3rd Trade Day in Scotland and the response from both our Suppliers and Retailers has been amazing. It continues to amaze me about how enthusiastic everyone is and that gives our Trade Day a great atmosphere. I'd like to thank everyone who attended the Trade Day, both Suppliers and Retailers for their on going support."

Bill Kimberling, Head of Sales for Forthglade Foods, says of the day:

'I have to say this was one of the best shows we have done with you this year and there was a real buzz on the day. We were both very busy the whole day and many customers have now started to trade well with the Forthglade brand as well as being keen to order and try new products.

The venue is a very good location and allows for many of the very Northern customers to get to a show like this. We will be looking to support this again next year.

The Scottish Trade Day follows two other successful Trade Days held by Bestpets earlier in the year at Yorkshire Wildlife Park, near Doncaster, in June and Avon Valley Adventure and Wildlife Park, near Bristol, in July.
