This ES reptile lampholder is designed to suit all ES bulbs. Manufactured from high quality plastic the unit will withstand high temperatures and therefore wattages of up to 125W. Higher wattages can be used but this may result in the life of the unit being reduced as the plastic will become brittle over a period of time.
Designed to be used with our Reptilife Terrariums or other vivariums.
It is supplied to be wired directly to your vivarium or vivarium lid etc . The diameter hole required to fit this in hood is 35mm. It has a special safety locking feacture which means once wired it can not be accidentally unscrewed by children (or adults to that point) without force in breaking the safety lock inside. Care should be taken when this product arrives so that it is only screwed together once on fitting as as above you will have to break the safety lock to unscrew!!
The lampholder can be fitted in our REPTILIFE TERRARIUMS by cutting the mesh to suit the 35mm hole. Remove all mesh and screw up. Use a vent which allows the bulb to be a minimum of 150mm from any glass side.
Always ensure that heat bulbs are not touching the vivarium surface as this can be a fire hazzard. Please face the heat sourse away from the edge of the vivarium towards the centre.
