Bestpets set to double in size during 2007

Tuesday 31st July 2007

The Bestpets success story will start a new chapter this year with the opening of not one but four more outlets.

By the end of 2007, what started as a pilot operation at Exeter will ooperate out of eight depots.

Cardiff, Nottingham and Southampton were all set to open as this edition was underway, with Gillingham also coming on stream when the new cash & carry depot opens later this year.

In addition to Exeter, the other three existing Bestpets facilities are located at Coventry, Glasgow and Newcastle.

"The rapid growth rate of Bestpets demonstrates how well it has been received by customers," commented pet food controller, Mike Bailey.

"The range has more than doubled, to almost 5,000 lines and the ordering system has been revised and improved to cope with the increased demand."
